You’ve Been Lied To: Psalm 83, the Real Israel, and the War Against Jacob

For decades, the prophecy of Psalm 83 has been misused, misapplied, or outright ignored. What if the real targets of Psalm 83 are not the modern nation-state of Israel, but the scattered descendants of Jacob hidden among the Palestinians, Syrian Christians, Lebanese remnants, and other Semitic peoples in the Middle East?

Wesley Clark, Jeffrey Sachs, and the Seven-Nation Plan

In the early 2000s, General Wesley Clark revealed that the Pentagon had a classified plan to take down seven nations in five years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, Somalia (or Ethiopia), and Iran. Few ask why these nations.

According to testimony from Jeffrey Sachs, this agenda wasn’t just an American initiative. Sachs confirmed that Israel was a key force behind the destabilization of these countries. Not coincidentally, these nations correspond closely to ancient regions where the northern tribes of Israel were exiled (2 Kings 17), and where early Semitic Christians flourished after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.

Psalm 83: A Confederacy Against the Name of Israel

Psalm 83 describes a secret conspiracy:

“They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.” (Psalm 83:4)

The enemies listed include Edom, the Ishmaelites, Moab, Ammon, Amalek, the Philistines, Tyre, and Assyria. These are not just historical enemies; they are types and spiritual forces working together across time. Many of these regions—Assyria, Tyre, Philistia—are within the very nations targeted by the post-9/11 war machine.

Could this war be not just geopolitical, but spiritual—intended to erase the memory of the true Israelites? Notably, Psalm 83’s central line—“cut them off from being a nation”—mirrors the long-standing Zionist-backed Israeli government’s policy to prevent Palestinians from forming their own state. For over 75 years, this has been the clear objective: deny the nationhood of the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu continually shifts global focus to Iran, claiming that the Islamic Republic seeks to destroy Israel and exterminate Jews in the Middle East, a claim echoed by figures like Piers Morgan. And yet, Iran is home to one of the largest Jewish populations in the region, a community that has consistently refused to immigrate to the modern state of Israel—challenging the narrative that Iran is inherently genocidal toward Jews.

Zionism, Edom, and the False Israel

What if the modern state of Israel, led by figures like Benjamin Netanyahu, is not the biblical Jacob at all, but Esau? The Edomite convert Herod ruled over Judea in Jesus’ day with Rome’s backing. Through military intervention, support of jihadist factions, and psychological operations, modern Zionist leadership may be fulfilling the role of Edom described in Obadiah 1:10:

“For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.”

The Forgotten Remnant

Palestinian Christians, Syrian believers, Lebanese Maronites, Druzes and even some Muslim populations in Gaza and the West Bank—many of these people may carry the physical DNA of ancient Israel. They have been demonized, driven out, and destroyed under the guise of “war on terror” and “fighting extremism.” But what if they are the ones Isaiah 11:11 said God would recover from Cush, Elam, Assyria, and Hamath?

Conclusion: The Real War for the Name of Israel

Psalm 83 is not merely a list of ancient tribes. It is a blueprint of a spiritual war, a modern conspiracy to destroy the remnant of Jacob. The deception runs deep. The world has been tricked into supporting Esau while condemning Jacob. The “head” lifted in Psalm 83:3 may be a political head—Netanyahu or the Zionist elite—organizing a war against the true Israel.
