The modern world is being swept into a “Scofield Spell,” a theological trance that fixates the faithful’s gaze on a plot of limestone in Jerusalem. We are told that the rebuilding of a physical Third Temple is the “ultimate fulfillment” of prophecy. But when we audit this movement against the internal logic of the Scriptures, from the “Fire” of Genesis to the “Rending” at the North Gate, we find that the Third Temple is not a Restoration. It is a Covenantal Rebellion.
The Original Blueprint: The Mystery of the Ish
To understand why a stone temple is a theological impossibility, we must return to Genesis 2:23-24. Before there was a Tabernacle of skin or a Temple of stone, there was the איש (Ish – Man) and the אשה (Ishah – Woman). Between them dwelt the אש (Esh – Fire) of God.
Paul identifies this in Ephesians 5:31-32 as a “Great Mystery” concerning Christ and the Church. The original Temple was a “One Flesh” union. The prophecy explicitly states that a man shall leave his father and mother (the old system of Law and Shadow) and cleave to his wife. Zionists are currently attempting to force the Husband (Ishi) back into the “Parents’ House”—the Mosaic/Levitical structure—when the legal decree of the New Covenant has already consummated the marriage in the Spirit.
The Indictment: The Firing of the Shepherds
The demand for a physical temple ignores the finality of the Divine Audit. In Ezekiel 34, God issued a “Cease and Desist” to the shepherds of Israel who fed themselves and ruled with “force and rigor.” They failed to seek the “lost sheep” of the House of Israel.
In Matthew 23, the Messiah rendered the final verdict: “Behold, your house is left unto you desolate (ביתכם שמם – Beitcham Shamem).” This was not an observation; it was a termination of a contract. When the veil was rent and the stones were leveled in 70 AD, God was executing a sentence. To rebuild that house today is to attempt to “appeal” a verdict from the Supreme Court of Heaven.
The North Side Verdict: The Release of the Glory
Mainstream theology fixates on the “East Gate,” but the legal climax occurred on the North Side. Ezekiel 44:4 describes the Glory of the Lord filling the house after coming by way of the North Gate.
Consider the topography: Golgotha, the “Place of the Skull,” is located to the North of the Temple Mount. In Leviticus 1:11, the law demanded that the sacrifice be killed on the northward side of the altar. At the moment of the “It is Finished,” the Glory didn’t move into the stone; it was released from the shadow. The rending of the veil was the “Open Side” of the New Adam, bringing forth the Bride through the sacrifice at the North Gate.
The Missing Veil and the “Second Strike”
In the detailed measurements of Ezekiel 40-48, the word for “Veil” (פָּרֹכֶת – Parokhet) is never mentioned. Ezekiel saw a “Veil-less” Temple, the architectural version of the Tabernacle of David (Acts 15:16), where the Glory is open to the people.
By weaving a new veil today, the Temple Institute is contradicting Ezekiel’s vision. They are attempting to “re-hide” the God who already came out. This is the “Error of Moses” (Numbers 20). Moses was barred from the Land for striking the rock a second time instead of speaking to it. To restart animal sacrifices is to “strike the rock” afresh. It is a public declaration that the bloodshed at the North Gate was insufficient. As Paul warns in Hebrews 6:6, this “crucifies Christ afresh” and puts Him to an “open shame.”
The Open Door: The Wound in the Side
The final proof is found in the anatomy of the Resurrected Christ. In Revelation 3:8, Jesus declares, “I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.”
This “Open Door” is the wound in His side (צֵלָע – Tsela)—the same word used for Adam’s “rib” in Genesis and the “side chambers” of the Temple in Ezekiel. The “Holy of Holies” is no longer a room; it is the Heart of the Messiah, accessed through the rent veil of His flesh (Hebrews 10:20). To build a stone building and install a fabric veil is to attempt to “heal” the wound of Christ and shut the door that God has decreed shall stay open.
Closing Arguments: The Golden Calf and the Antichrystas
We must understand the gravity of this moment. The Zionists are not fulfilling prophecy; they are re-enacting the rebellion of the Golden Calf. Just as the Israelites could not handle the “Invisible Voice” on the mountain and demanded a “Visible Form,” modern Zionism has rejected the Living Body for an idol of stone.
The word “Antichrist” is a description of a substitutionary spirit. In the Shem Tov Hebrew Matthew, the אנטכרישטא (Antichrystas) is the one who seeks to “stand” in a physical holy place. When the anointing of God moved from the building into the human heart at Pentecost, the “Holy Place” shifted.
To build a stone temple today and claim that the anointing dwells there is to commit spiritual identity theft. It is an attempt to evict Christ from His True Temple, His People, and replace Him with a physical object that can be controlled by a political “Cyrus Decree” (דת – Dat).
The Final Verdict: Case Closed
If you are looking for the Temple, stop looking at the ground in Jerusalem and look at the Wound in the Side of the Resurrected Ish. The Evangeli has been preached, the “End” of the Old Order has come, and the “Two Sticks” of Ezekiel 37 are already joined in the Body.
The Zionists are building a tomb for a Living God. But the Gate is shut to all substitutes. The Shepherds are fired. The Veil is rent. The Rock has been struck once and for all. The Door is open, the Husband has cleaved to His Wife, and the Anointing is not in a building—it is in you.
