Washington Threatens Its Relationship With Israel!
transcribed By: Sister Torres
Steven Ben-Nun: Erev tov, I’m Steven Ben-Nun and you are watching Israeli News Live. John Boehner went on camera with Face the Nation and spoke about the coming speech by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that is coming very soon here in Washington to the Congress. And he spoke very candidly how that the Obama Administration has actually in the last 5 or 6 weeks has cause a much greater divide between one of America’s greatest allies which is Israel. And he said we should hear what the Prime Minister has to say in regards to the deal that is being brokered with Iran and the United States. And he said especially when they’re a trusted ally and we know that they have information that is vital to our own negotiation process.
But it is definitely cause a huge divide between the Obama Administration and Congress who clearly stands and supports Israel. Something that we are certainly happy to see is that there is still not only is there a remnant of true believers in the United States that stand with Israel but there’s also even in the government still those that will stand with Israel. So we applaud John Boehner for his stand the House Speaker in the United States there. Let me take you right to part of; a little clip here of that meeting there it’ll be very insightful for you. Let’s take a listen…
Clip of Face the Nation:
Bob Schieffer: There has been a lot of political heartburn about this invite that you offered to him. Has that heartburn; has that dust up under mind the Prime Ministers ability to make his case to his audience?
John Boehner: Well I don’t believe so at. The demand for seats in the House, the demand for tickets I’ve never seen anything like it. Everybody wants to be there what I do wonder is why the White House feels threatened because the Congress wants to support Israel and wants to hear what a trusted ally has to say. It has been frankly remarkable to me to the extent to which over the last 5 or 6 weeks the White House has attacked the Prime Minister, attacked me for wanting to hear from one of our closest allies.
Bob Schieffer: Have they damaged the relationship? Has the White House damaged the relationship?
John Boehner: Well the animosity between the White House and the Prime Minister is no secret here in this town but.
Bob Schieffer: They made it worse.
John Boehner: They certainly made it worse over the last 5 or 6 weeks. The threat coming from Iran and the Iranians have a nuclear weapon is a threat to the region, it’s a threat to the United States and it’s a threat to the rest of the world. This is a serious issue and we’re not gonna resolve this issue by sticking our heads in the sand. The Prime Minister can talk about this threat I believe better than anyone. And the United States Congress wants to hear from him and so do the American people.
Bob Schieffer: Do you; but there have been some republican foreign policy experts James Baker said this visit might backfire. Robert Kagan writes today in the Washington Post says the cost is too high.
John Boehner: I don’t believes so Congress has every right to do this the present at the vote of a very few words to the threat of Radical Islamic.
Clip of Face the Nation Ends:
Steven Ben-Nun: Other news as well ah; we’re getting a very serious situation developing between Russia and the; it’s beyond rederick it is; it’s getting more and more serious by the day on Tas.ru they actually stated today Moscow’s concerned the Coalition may strike at Syrian regions not controlled by the as they call it the ISIS State. The double standard leads us to think that the airstrikes delivered at regions controlled by terrorist on the Syrian territory will later be delivered at other regions of Syria Lavrov says. On February 27th Russia’s; he goes on to say that drew attention to the fact that after declaring the establishment of a coalition to fight against Islamic State ISIS terrorists organization the US did not consult the Syrian leadership and refused to turn to the UN Security Council on this issue saying that Assad’s regime cannot be a partner this is two-face position because just recently the Assad regime was a wonderful, reliable and effective partner in the issue of illuminating chemical weapons in Syria Lavrov said.
Double standards leads us to think that these airstrikes that are delivered at the regions controlled by terrorist in the Syrian territory will later be delivered at other regions of the Syrian State which are not controlled by the terrorists and I hope will never be controlled by them he added. We call for the fight against terrorism to be carried out on the bases of international law he says.
The minister stressed in this case the US; excuse me the use of force requires of course the agreement of the country and the territory of which it is happening and the corresponding UN Security Council he noted.
One of the things that’s very important that we look at in regards to the situation with United States and the Coalition Forces fighting ISIS in this region is at; as we clearly see with Russia, Russia’s very much a supporter of not only Syria but Iran as well. And has signed a military agreement with Iran and could easily get involved in this conflict if the conflict spills outside of the terrorists organizations that are being attacked. And we’re constantly seeing the tensions being built between Russia and the United States and of course you have Israel that is involved in this because their security is at risk. But I might add when it comes to Israel’s security there’s a lot deeper issues than just the security, when it comes to Israel we’ve got some things we need to clean up at home.
We need to actually shut down the Old City and not allow the Gates to be opened during the Sabbath. This is something that God of Israel promised us long ago that if we would keep those Gates closed during the Sabbath just as Nehemiah actually enforced that when he came down to restore the Temple and to build the cities and the walls and the gates thereof. And God had made a promise to Israel that if they would not allow the City to do business on the Sabbath, the Old City that we see in Jerusalem today to do business and commerce that God would always have a King on the Throne of David and that the City would never be destroyed. But we have allowed the Palestine’s the Catholic people as well and any of the other religious organizations that do not keep Sabbath, that do not believe in the God of Israel and the Covenant God has with Israel to completely obliterate the very words that God has commanded us.
And this is gonna backfire on us until we stand up and be the people that God called us to be, the True Israelites, the True Hebraic people of today. We are the Hebrews, the Hebrew people, the children of Jacob that have come home and we’ve got to make a stand for what God told us to stand for.
